Jeder kennt das Problem. Man justiert die Kamera und denkt es sei der perfekte Moment für ein Foto. Nach dem man schliesslich das Photo entwickelt hat und es in den Händen hält, fällt einem auf: “Bullsh!t. Die Aufnahme ist ja doch nicht so “perfekt” wie angenommen und erwartet.”

(Wahrscheinlich) Aus diesem Grund hat der deutsche Künstler Andrew Kupresanin NADIA designed. Eine intelligente Kamera, die ganz genau weiss wann der richtige Moment für ein Photo ist. Hält der “Photograph” sie auf das “zielobjekt”, spuckt NADIA eine Prozentzahl aus, die angibt, wie wahrscheinlich es ist, dass dabei ein “jutes, schönes” Bild bei rauskommt. Positioniert man die Kamera anders, so definiert NADIA auch die “Shot-Wahrscheinlichkeit” neu.

Nadia is a camera which has no display of the photograph to be taken but rather gives the judgment of aesthetic quality to the machine, displaying only a current rating as feedback about when and what to snap.

Rather than display the image, the screen on the back of the camera shows only a percentage value that indicates how good a photo you’re about to take. As you shift positions and angles, the number changes, approaching 100% as you approach the ideal pic.

Obwohl NADIA derzeit noch ein Prototyp ist und in der BETA Phase steckt, ist der Gedanke, dass eines Tages alle Kameras so ´ne “Erfolgsanzeige” haben, gar nicht so unwahrscheinlich.
